
Attentions now turn to Munster for Waterford’s various champions in both football and camogie this weekend.
Having won the Conway Cup for the third year running, Rathgormack make the trip to Ennis to take on Clare champions Eire Og Inis in the Munster Senior Club Football Championship Quarter-Final at Cusack Park this Sunday.
Throw-in is at 1:30pm and WLR will bring you the game LIVE thanks to George Corbett Skoda.
Stradbally are also on the road to Clare this Sunday – the Waterford Premier Intermediate champions will face an away trip to Corofin in the Munster Intermediate Club Football Championship Quarter-Final in what is also a 1:30pm throw-in.
Waterford junior club football champions Shamrocks are in action on Saturday in the Munster Junior Football Championship Quarter-Final at Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field – they take on Cork champions Buttevant, who themselves won a county title for the first time in 99 years. Throw-in in that clash is also at 1:30pm.
County senior camogie champions De La Salle also begin their provincial campaign on Saturday as they play host to Tipperary champions Thurles Sarsfields in a 1pm throw-in in the Munster Senior Club Camogie Championship Semi-Final.
Intermediate winners Lismore will participate in the Munster Junior Club Camogie Championship – they’re on the road to Clare to take on Clooney Quin in the semi-finals at 1pm on Sunday.
