More signings at the RSC

Waterford FC have completed the signings of two more players for the 2021 season with Paul Martin and Eric Molloy putting pen to paper for the Blues.
Martin had signed earlier this year, but due to covid-19 restrictions, the club could announce the goalkeepers arrival.
Speaking to the club website, the net minder was happy with his deal.
“It’s good to be back in again. Getting a bit of match fitness, I got some game time against Treaty and again against Cork as well. It was good to get a runout. There’s a lot of new players in and it was pre-season so it was a bit of getting used to. For myself, I feel sharper and stronger.
“For the training and full time, you have to be up for the challenge. It’s difficult to get used to but it’s not my first year at it. I’m improving all the time so hopefully, the lads [Kevin & Mike] will see that.
“It’s brilliant being in with Dirk, he really helped me improve over the years, Brian joining as well, has been a huge influence, not just with me but the whole squad.
“It’s hard being second/third choice at the moment, not getting the game time but I’m always ready and excited to be where I am. It’s a huge opportunity for me to drive on. I know my chance will come again soon so I’ll be ready and waiting for when that time comes."
The deal was announced by the Blues supporters club.

While midfielder Eric Molloy is also on the incoming list at the Kilbarry venue. Having most recently played for Polish side OKS Stomil Olsztyn, Molloy has been without a club since last year.
The Carlow native played with Wexford for four years, until 2016 and then made the move to New Zealand, playing for  Southern united and Team Welllington.
He told WaterfordFC.ie that its been a challenge getting up to the pace at training.
“It’s been tough. Two sessions a day, but that’s what pre-season is all about. I can’t wait for Friday down in the RSC, home matches are always great. Sligo Rovers got a great result against Dundalk the weekend so they’ll certainly be up for it. Really looking forward to it now."
“All the lads are getting to know Kevin and Mike and how they want us to play so that’s been very interesting and something I’m delighted to be part of."
