Waterford boxer Dylan Moran returned to winning ways last weekend in Belfast, defeating Owen O'Neill.
Moran claimed a first round TKO stoppage at the SSE Arena.
'The Real Deal' now has a record of 19 wins and 2 losses and wasn't surprised at the early stoppage.
"The reason we stay going is because what happened Saturday night I've been doing every other week in the gym."
The importance of getting back into the swing of things and good nutrition were key elements to the victory according to Moran.
"Getting back into a good routine, I know the power of exercise and purpose and eating clean would work and it did. A couple of weeks into training camp I felt I made the right decision and I definitely did.
The ends justified the means for Moran as he returned to the ring with a statement performance.
"I needed it to be honest. It put my career right back on track. Cleared my name after what happened in September. I knew it shouldn't have happened.
"I done what I had to do. Locked myself away for nine weeks and went in, took care of business in nineteen seconds so happy days."
