Michael Boland named as new Waterford Camogie manager

Michael Boland is the new Waterford Senior Camogie manager.
The Cork man will take up the role on an interim basis until the end of the season, following the departure of his colleague Jerry Wallace at the end of the Déise’s league campaign.
Wallace stepped aside following a tumultuous league season which saw Waterford retain Division 1 status by the skin of their teeth thanks to a last gasp win against Tipperary.
Having previously served as lead coach and selector, Boland now takes the reins ahead of Waterford’s Munster Senior Camogie Championship Semi-Final which will be played next weekend against the winner of Tipperary v Limerick.
The Carrigtwohill native managed Cork side Courcey Rovers as they won their first ever county title in 2020.
