One senior player at Ulster Rugby is self-isolating following an outbreak of Covid-19 at the province's Academy.

In a statement released yesterday, Ulster confirmed that multiple academy players have tested positive for the virus.

Senior and academy training was suspended as a result, however, the side's game against Leinster is still due to go ahead on Satuday, according to The Irish Times.

The match is set to kickoff in the Aviva at 7.35 pm, with IRFU director of communications, Stephen McNamara saying, “we’ve no reason to believe it will affect the game at this point.”

“Testing of all four provincial teams was undertaken and we will advise of results when we get them,” added Mr McNamara.
