Waterford have learned their schedule for Division 1 of the Lidl National Ladies' Football League 2025.
The Tomas Mac an tSaoir era will begin on Sunday January 26th away to Kildare - who incidentally will be managed by former Waterford boss, Pat Sullivan.
Former Kerry goalkeeper Mac an tSaoir succeeds Sullivan who guided the Déise to the All Ireland quarter finals in 2024. He will be joined on the sideline next year by Richie Waring, Liam Ó Lonáin, Darragh Corcoran and Eimear McCarthy.
Mac an tSaoir previously worked under Shane Ronayne with the Cork ladies, the Déise footballers and the Tipperary ladies.
Waterford will play their first home game on Monday February 3rd at 3:45pm when they play host to All-Ireland champions Kerry.
That's followed by a trip to Meath for Round 3 on Sunday February 9th - before another away fixture to face Dublin on the 23rd.
It will be three away trips in a row as the Deise will make the long journey to Tyrone on Sunday March 2nd.
Mac an tSaoir's side will then round off their league campaign with two home fixtures.
They'll face holders Armagh at 2pm on Saturday March 22nd - before rounding off the group phase on Saturday March 29th against Mayo at 2.30pm.
Should Waterford reach the National Ladies' Football League Final - they will be lining out at Croke Park on Saturday April 12th.
