
The 2025 Gymnastics Ireland National Series Championships were held on May 17–18 at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena, featuring 1,300 gymnasts from across the country in Acrobatics, Men’s and Women’s Artistic, Rhythmic, Trampoline, and Tumbling. Over 3,100 spectators attended across the two days.
Waterford was proudly represented by Kilbarry Gymnastics Academy (KGA) and their talented Plus Level squad—part of Gymnastics Ireland’s elite development pathway.
Day One Highlights:

Sophia Power made an impressive debut at Level 4 Plus (Under-11), finishing 4th All-Around—just 0.05 off the podium—and 2nd in Physical Prep.
Day Two Highlights:

Madison Hamilton (Level 3 Plus U10): Bronze All-Around, highest Physical Prep score.

Lucy Hayes (Level 3 Plus U10): Silver on Bars, 6th All-Around.

Bethan Morgan (Level 5 Plus U12): All-Around National Champion, Gold on Beam, top Physical Prep score.
The team also competed at the Tony Byrne Invitational in Lisburn on April 27:

Lucy Hayes: 3rd All-Around, Gold on Vault and Beam, Bronze on Bars.

Madison Hamilton: Silver on Beam, Bronze on Vault.

Sophia Power: Strong performance at Level 4 Plus U11.

Bethan Morgan: 1st All-Around at Level 5 U12, Gold on Beam, Bronze on Bars and Floor.
KGA Head Coach and Director Maddie Croke praised the gymnasts, saying, “We are all so proud of our athletes representing Waterford at such a high level. Their hard work and dedication really showed on the national stage.”
Gymnasts were supported by a dedicated team of coaches and judges: Maddie Croke, Alina Andrei, Lily Mei Flynn, and Olivia O’Brien.
