In the Munster Ladies' Football Championship, Waterford were looking to finish their campaign on a high as they took on Kerry this afternoon
It was neck and neck for large parts of the game at Cordal GAA grounds, with Kerry coming out on top by a point on a final scoreline of Kerry 1-8, Waterford 1-7.
Captain Kellyann Hogan scored five points for the Deise while Katie Murray and Eve Power scored one- Kaci Brazil scored a goal from a penalty nine minutes into the second half.
Kerry were behind for parts of the second half, but finished strongly to record three wins from three.
