Man of the match Seamus Keating scored 1-12 (1-3 from play) as Ardmore beat Roanmore 2-16 to 0-12 in the Junior A decider at Carrickbeg on Saturday night. James Flavin also goaled for the Western champions as they pulled clear in the second half.

Corner forward Ciaran Keating created both Ardmore goals, Kenny Murphy put in a big shift at midfield while Declan Prendergast read the play superbly from centre back. Sam Pender was Roanmore's top performer with four points from play.

The sides were level six times in the opening half. Six Seamus Keating points left Ardmore 8-7 ahead at the break.

Michael Murray's charges hit 2-4 without reply in the third quarter. James Flavin fired low to the net on 35 minutes after Ciaran Keating and John O'Brien were involved in the build-up. Ciaran Keating then supplied Seamus for another green flag seven minutes later.
