At the National Senior Indoor Championships in Abbotstown, Kate Veale of West Waterford easily won the 3000m walk this afternoon.
The West Waterford AC star came home in a time of 12 minutes 27.84 seconds - a personal best.
This is her seventh successive national title in the event.
