Former Waterford FC captain John Frost is set to be appointed as a coach at League of Ireland First Division side Cobh Ramblers.

Frost joins Fran Rockett’s backroom team at St. Colman’s Park – bringing a wealth of experience to the Ramblers who are seeking to make the jump up to the Premier Division.

The 45-year-old had a storied playing career representing the Blues in two stints, as well as St. Patrick’s Athletic, Sporting Fingal and Limerick – winning an FAI Cup along the way in 2009.

‘Frosty’ recently worked as a coach at Waterford Premier League side Dungarvan United for three and a half years – and the club have thanked him for his dedication, knowledge, expertise and passion that he brought to Kilrush Park.

Frost has also previously served as a coach at both senior and underage level at the RSC.
