Jason Healy commits to Waterford FC for 2026

Waterford FC have confirmed that Jason Healy has committed to another season at the Blues.
The 19 year-old shot-stopper heads into his seventh year at the club, having joined from Southend United at U13 level , before earning his first professional contract in 2023.
Healy made his first-team debut for the club in July of 2023, in a mid-season friendly against Fleetwood Town at the RSC, before making his competitive debut for the club later that year away to Galway United in October, coming on as a half-time substitute in Eamonn Deacy Park in our SSE Airtricity Men’s First-Division clash.
Jason was part of the Blues squad over the course of the last two seasons, whilst playing for their MU20’s side, as he now commits his future to his hometown club for 2026 after agreeing a new contract for the upcoming SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division campaign which kicks off in February.
Speaking on his new deal with the club, Healy spoke of his excitement to work under Jon Daly in 2026, saying:
“I’m happy to be back with the Blues for another year now. I’m looking forward to meeting up with the group & working with Jon Daly for hopefully a positive and exciting year.
I’m really looking forward to working under Brian Murphy again this year who has a massive impact on us goalkeepers throughout the season to keep us ready for each and every game.”
