The English FA has launched an investigation into chants aimed at Republic of Ireland international James McClean, during Stoke City's Championship game at Barnsley last weekend.
According to the Daily Mail, an allegation of discriminatory behaviour has been included in the referee's report.
A small section of Barnsley fans are believed to have chanted anti-IRA and anti-Pope songs.
The Stoke winger was also booed regularly during the clash.

A number of players were wearing poppies on their shirts during the match, but McClean has never worn a poppy during his many years in English football out of respect for the 13 civilians that were killed on Bloody Sunday in Derry in 1972.
