JJ Hutchinson has been part of the Gaultier senior football panel for the last 20 years. His dream is to lead his club to Conway Cup glory.
"Bar my two kids and my wife at home, there's nothing I love more than playing for this club. I still get a tingle down my spine when I'm driving into the field to go training. We have a running joke in Gaulter. Sean Byrne, who plays corner back, was born in 2003, which was my first year in a Gaultier senior dressing room! I love it. I can't ever see the day when I'm going to give it up. I'm still getting the buzz as if I was a 19-year-old going onto the pitch. I love Gaelic Football. I get a serious buzz out of it. I have a three-year-old at home and we're practicing kicking and we're practicing hand passing! I just love it. I love playing for this club. Obviously, the end goal is to get a Conway medal."
Hutchinson shot 1-10 (1-6 from play) as Gaultier got off to a winning start against Kilmacthomas last weekend. Another victory over Portlaw on Friday night in Carrickbeg would seal their place in the quarter finals.
