Ballygunner star Dessie Hutchinson has praised the contributions of teammate Peter Hogan as pivotal to their recent successes.
The Gunners saw off Fourmilewater in the Waterford Senior Hurling Championship semi-final last night to book their place in an 11th consecutive county final.
They have now been involved in the decider in Waterford for 23 of the last 25 seasons, and have an average winning margin of 12 points so far this season.
Hutchinson scored 1-3 in last night's semi-final, while Hogan hit 0-3 from play for the second weekend in a row, having done the same against Dungarvan seven days prior.
Hutchinson says he's a key cog in the Gunners machine:
"Peter is unbelieveable. Sometimes, he's probably overlooked within our team - but the work he has done for the team for the past ten years has been unreal. He's chipping in with a lot of scores now but he has been a key part in our success - he continues to do it all the time."
The winner of this afternoon's clash between De La Salle and Roanmore will stand between the Gunners and a record-breaking tenth consecutive county title.
