Hibs advanced in the FAI Junior Cup yesterday, keeping the hopes alive of a Waterford team retaining the cup in 2023.
David Breen's side were emphatic 5-0 winners in Ozier Park, controlling the game from start to finish.
Mark O' Keefe opened the scoring after 12 minutes and would go on to double the lead before the break when he struck again in the 43rd minute.
Sean O' Keefe added a third on the hour mark, with Conor Whittle sending home goals number four and five in the last two minutes of play.
Elsewhere, Tramore were on the wrong end of a similar performance when they were beaten 3-0 by Gorey Rangers at Graun Park to end their involvement in the competition.
This weekend, Villa are in action in the Munster Junior Cup when they host Killarney Celtic on Sunday.
There are also two more FAI Youth Cup ties on Sunday with Villa making the trip to Galway to face Maree Oranmore, while Southend are on the road to Parkvilla.
