Cork ended Waterford's reign as All Ireland under 21 hurling champions with a dramatic 2-17 to 1-19 win at Walsh Park in last night's Munster semi final.
Man of the match Declan Dalton fired home a penalty in the sixth minute of injury time as the Rebels set up a final meeting with Limerick on July 26.
That goal brought the former goalkeeper's haul to 1-12 on the night.
Waterford looked on course for victory after Shane Bennett found the net on 52 minutes. Midfielder Colm Roche also hit five points from play for the home side.
Déise boss Sean Power was devastated with the result.
He hopes that they can learn from the experience.
