The News & Star Cup will be up for grabs on Sunday when Ballygunner and De La Salle face off at Walsh Park.

The Gracedieu side are back in their first county final since 2019. Former Waterford boss Michael Ryan says that Ian Flynn has made a big impact as manager.

"When I managed De La Salle in 2010, he was the captain of the team. I think most teams are a reflection of their manager. He's such an honest guy, he was always a straight talker and a deep thinker. He always wore his heart on his sleeve. He never gave up, he fought for every ball when he was playing. That's exactly what De La Salle are doing now. They're contesting every single ball, they're playing for the 60 plus minutes. They're certainly doing their manager justice."

Listen back to Michael Ryan's preview of the senior hurling final from Friday's Lár Na Páirce.
