Gold for two Waterford athletes at Universities Indoor Championships

Two Waterford Athletes have won titles at the Irish Universities Indoor Championships in Athlone.

Niamh Whelan, who was competing with UL, won the 200m in a time of 24.20

Niamh also finished 3rd in the 60m.

Earlier Kate Veale won the 1500 metre walk, the Dungarvan native was representing DCU in the competition.
