There was further heartbreak for Gailltìr in this afternoon's All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie Club Championship Semi-final at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh.
The Waterford champions suffered defeat to familiar rivals St. Rynagh's for the second time in a few weeks as the Offaly side prevailed by 2-11 to 1-11 after a tense battle.
The sides were level at half-time, 1-4 apiece with Alannah O' Sullivan and Linda Sullivan both netting at either end in the opening 5 minutes.
The big moment arrived ten minutes from full-time when player of the match Roisìn Egan buried a penalty for Rynagh's to give them a three point lead, this was pushed out to 5 as Kate Kenny (who ended with 6 points) added a brace.
Gailltìr kept fighting and Annie Fitzgerald fired over three frees as they reduced the deficit to two points before Siobhan Flannery concluded the scoring.
The Offaly side will be hoping to win back to back titles next month.
