A seven-race afternoon card starts at 4.05 in Galway today with two trainers representing Waterford.

Butlerstown trainer Henry De Bromhead sends out Clondow Bertie, the mount of Sean Flanagan in the opening contest. While Dungarvan handler Declan Qeually runs Young Itzy and Keep It Tucked In in the same contest - the Kenny Developments Maiden Hurdle over 2 miles.

De Bromheads Robcour owned six-year-old gelding  is well set to claim top honours with a weaker field around her. Queally's Young Itzy and Keep It Tucked Inn go off at odds of 7/1 and 33/1.

The 4.35 over the same distance as the first race with De Bromhead saddling Mafils who goes off at odds of 11/1. While Toms Courage runs under the same starting odds; the seven year old is well fancied here having claimed fourth on a previous outing and is expected to go better today.

At  5.50, the Deacy Gilligan Hurdle over 2 mile, f.5 furlongs has a much reduced field, with De Bromhead and Darragh O' Keefe teaming up through Holymacapony at odds of 9/4/. The one to watch ahead of the off will be Jazzaway trained by Willie Mullins.
