Offaly GAA say they are 'devastated' after the sudden death of their senior football manager Liam Kearns.
The Kerry native passed away last night.
Kearns took over Offaly last year, having previously managed Limerick, Laois and Tipperary.
All involved with Limerick GAA would like to extend our sincere sympathies to the family of Liam Kearns on the sad news of his untimely passing today,

As a player, Kearns won an All-Ireland minor medal with Kerry in 1980.

Tributes have been flowing in overnight after the sad news emerged, Kearns was a players manager who always thrived on seeing players achieve their maximum, his passion and enthusiasm for football was second to none and he will be sadly missed by the entire GAA family, but no more so that his loving family and we'd like to offer our deepest condolences to his wife, Angela, daughters Rachel and Laura and all the family.
