James Cox Fourteen-man Galway beat Donegal 0-21 to 0-14 at a stormy Salthill in Division 1 of the Allianz National Football League. Elsewhere, David Clifford scored a hat-trick to help Kerry past Tyrone. The Fossa man hit 3-3 today on his return to the starting lineup as the Kingdom come away from Pomeroy with a 3-13 to 2-13 win.

Wexford picked up their first win of the Allianz National Hurling League against Clare. Lee Chin played a starring role on his return as they left Ennis with a 1-23 to 1-17 victory. It leaves the Banner without a win in this year's tournament after coming in as league champions. Davy Fitzgerald's tough time with Antrim continued with a 2-23 to 0-11 loss to his former side Waterford.

In Division 2 of the Football League, there were wins for Cavan, Meath and Louth. In Division 3, Fermanagh defeated Offaly by a point, and in Division 4 Longford were two-point winners at home to Waterford. In Division 1 of the Lidl Ladies National Football League, Dublin and Waterford played out a draw in Parnell Park. Kate Sullivan's late free rescued a 2-7 to 0-13 result for the Dubs. Earlier, Kerry defeated Tyrone in Garvaghey on a scoreline of 4-5 to 1-7. Meanwhile, Meath trail Kildare by 0-6 to 1-1 at half time.
