Waterford Ladies Gaelic Football Assocation are at Kilcohan Park this Saturday coming to raise funds for the future purchase of their own playing facilities in the County.
The Déise ladies have enjoyed some great success at all grades in recent seasons in both club and county and having their own field is part of an exciting plan to further develop and grow the game here in the Déise.
Saturday evening promises to be a great night and the girls are asking that people
come along and support them in this fundraiser and also enjoy the fun at Kilcohan Park.
Tickets can be bought beforehand at any ladies football Club and are priced at €10 each and there's also a great value family ticket for a family of 4 at €20.
Paul Heffernan is Chairman of the fundraising committee and says purchasing their own ground is vital for the future development of ladies football in the County.
And for the full-Interview with Paul Heffernan you can tune into this evening's "On the Ball" with Gavin Whelan from ten past six.
