Tom Barron, Ciaran Kirwan and Carthach Daly have caught the eye in the early rounds of the league according to former Déise defender Brian Flannery.

"Young Tom Barron has impressed hugely since he has come into the team. Ciaran Kirwan is another one. Having watched both of them in the Fitzgibbon Cup with WIT, I think they were rewarded for their performances there. They've really impressed as has Carthach Daly in the middle of the field. He is an exciting young player. They've been watching him in Lismore for quite some time. He adds that athleticism but what I love from watching him is his ability to score as well."

Antrim v Waterford in the NHL will be the George Corbett Skoda Big Match on WLR this Sunday. Join Kieran O'Connor and Humphrey Kelleher for live coverage from 12.45.
