Paudie Hunt, Darach O Cathasaigh, Robbie Flynn, Darragh Corcoran and Dermot Ryan will make their league debuts for the Waterford footballers against Limerick on Saturday night.

County champions Rathgormack have seven players on the starting fifteen.

Conor Murray, the new Waterford captain says he is enjoying his role as the leader of the team; “Yeah I suppose it’s an added dimension to what I was already doing, I’ve been around the last three or four years so I have a bit of experience in around the panel, I suppose there’s not a whole lot more to it – you’d see everyone in the group as a leader and it’s just maybe taking it up another level on the pitch and maybe being a bit more vocal and leading off the pitch as well in terms of preparation”
