27 different players from Waterford have been named on various Fitzgibbon Cup teams as the competition gets underway next week.
The 27 players will represent six different institutions - namely SETU, UL, UCC, Mary Immaculate College, MTU and Maynooth University.
University of Limerick (UL) will be bidding to win the title again and will have Passage man Mark Fitzgerald and Roanmore's Rory Furlong among their arsenal.
University College Cork (UCC) are also gunning for glory and they will be able to call on Cormac O'Mahony of Ballygunner, as well as Stradbally's Michael Mullaney.
Mary Immaculate College (MIC) can call on Ballygunner's Ronan Power and Lismore man Cathrach Daly.
Fourmilewater and Waterford forward Sean Walsh will line out with MTU Cork, while Mount Sion's Ben Regan will represent Maynooth University.
The SETU Waterford squad of 35 contains 19 players from the Deise - with 12 different clubs represented.
Aaron Cheasty from Ballyduff Lower; Cian Carroll and Ethan Hayes of Roanmore; De La Salle trio Conor Keane, Daniel Lalor and Reuben Halloran; Mount Sion's Emmanuel Adebayo; Gary, Kevin and Sean Cullinane all of Passage; Gavin Fives of Tourin; Ballygunner's Jake Foley, Pierce Kennedy and Thomas Fitzgerald; John Groves of Dunhill; Clashmore Kinsalebeg's Josh Fitzgerald; Michael Hally of Bonmahon; Tom Dalton of Shamrocks and Willie Beresford of Abbeyside / Ballinacourty are all part of the SETU Waterford side.
The Fitzgibbon Cup gets underway on Wednesday January 15th.
SETU Waterford will play away to UL with a 7pm throw-in, while at the same time ATU Galway will play host to Mary Immaculate College Limerick.
On Thursday January 16th, University of Galway take on MTU Cork while TUS Midwest entertain DCU Dochas Eireann.
Just one Waterford player will play in this year's Sigerson Cup - as Kilrossanty's Alan Dunwoody lines out for MTU Cork.
