The Republic of Ireland Under 19's are hoping to make home advantage count, as they begin their European Championship qualifying campaign today (Wednesday).
Tom Mohan's side will play all of their Group 7 games at Waterford's R-S-C, the first of which comes against Azerbaijan this afternoon.
Waterford native Jayson Molumby - who's on the verge of a first team breakthrough at Brighton - will captain the side.
Other local lads expected to feature prominently are Lee O'Connor who's with Manchester United;
John Martin from Waterford FC ; and another rising star from the South East is Kilkenny's Thomas O'Connor of Southhampton.
Kick off is at 3pm. That's followed at 7pm by the Serbia v Cyprus game.
