Dungarvan United secure second treble in three years
Dungarvan United secured another incredible treble yesterday – winning the Waterford Womens’ Cup Final at Ozier Park.
Lily Magill scored twice for the Kilrush side as they saw off Benfica 2-1 in the decider.
Having already won the Munster Junior Cup and Waterford Womens’ and Schoolgirls League – it makes it a treble for Tommy Butler and Owen Simms’ side.
It’s their second treble in three seasons – having previously captured league, cup and Munster honours in 2023 – while it’s also a third cup success in four years.
