Dungarvan United u14s have advanced to the semi finals of the SFAI Cup after an impressive 3-1 win away in Tipperary against Ballymackey.

The Blues advanced past the North Tipperary side with a 3-1 win away win this afternoon.

It marks an impressive weekend for underage soccer in County Waterford with both Ballinroad u12s and Southend United u13s also progressing to the penultimate stage of the national competition.

Meanwhile, another Waterford club will make it to the final four in the U14s competition as West meets East with Lismore AFC set to host Villa FC.

Their clash was postponed due to the inclement weather.
