A Dungarvan kickboxer was among the athletes to claim medals at the Unified World Championships held in Tuscany in Italy.
Evelyn Coffey, who lives in Galway but hails from Springmount, Dungarvan, is daughter of Noel Coffey of Coffey Engineering in the town.
She was part of the team led by Pete Foley, owner of Black Dragon Kickboxing Gym in Galway and scooped a gold meal. The team won numerous medals and arrived back to Dublin Airport today.
