After three years, Eoin Kelly (Mullinahone) has stepped down from his role as selector.
“Eoin has been an integral part of the setup, bringing invaluable experience and commitment to the team. We extend our sincere thanks to Eoin for his contribution to Waterford hurling and wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”
Neil Moore, Chairperson of Waterford GAA, expressed his gratitude, stating: “Eoin has given tremendous service to Waterford over the past three years. His passion for the game and his insight have been greatly appreciated by players and management alike. On behalf of everyone in Waterford GAA, I want to thank him sincerely for his time and dedication.”
In a new appointment, Donal O’Rourke joins the Senior Hurling Management Team as coach.
“Donal, from the Affane Cappoquin Tourin club, brings a wealth of coaching experience and a deep understanding of the game. We welcome Donal to the setup and look forward to the impact he will bring to the team.”
O’Rourke most recently coached the Cork senior hurlers as they won the National League and Munster Senior Hurling Championship before losing to Tipperary in the All-Ireland Final.
