Former Waterford FC forward Owen Oseni has signed for Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.
Oseni has signed for the Buddies after an incredible first half of the season in the English National League for Gateshead FC.
The former Villa FC prodigy scored 13 goals in 28 matches for the Tynesiders.
The promising striker left Waterford FC in February 2023 to join Derby County where loan spells at Nuneaton Borough and Rushall Olympic caught the eye of Gateshead who he joined on a permanent basis in July 2024.
Oseni becomes the Paisley side's first signing of 2025 and joins former Blues Roland Idowu and Richard Taylor at St Mirren Park.
The 21-year-old has put pen to paper on a three and a half year contract.
According to the Buddies statement on their website, the club beat a number of clubs to Oseni's signature.
St Mirren currently find themselves in fifth place in the Scottish top flight, a potential European qualification position depending on the winners of the Scottish Cup.
