Déise Minor Ladies Footballers battle to victory in Limerick
The Waterford Minor Ladies Footballers claimed their first victory of 2025 on Saturday afternoon.
After losing their opening two round of fixtures to Cork and Kerry respectively, the Déise returned from County Limerick with a hard fought win against the Treaty County.
Having found themselves level at three points apiece at half time, the Déise rallied in the second half to come away with the win on a scoreline of 2-8 to 1-4 at Martinstown Staker Wallace GAA.
