Waterford hurlers are on the road again this afternoon in Division 1(B) of the Allianz National league.
The Déise will be hotly fancied to account for Laois in their round 2 clash at O' Moore Park.
Waterford romped to the twenty seven point win over Offaly in the opening round at Semple Stadium last Sunday.
Laois, who lost heavily to Galway in round one, are under the stewardship of former Kilkenny all-star Eddie Brennan.
Déise manager Paraic Fanning told WLR Sport he's pleased with the strength and depth throughout the Déise panel.
Paraic says Eddie Brennan's charges have plenty of fine hurlers in their ranks.

Meanwhile, the Waterford footballers are looking to bounce back from last week's one point loss to Wicklow when they travel to face Limerick this afternoon.

Speaking to WLR Sport, Déise captain Brian Looby says that they must cut down on the turnovers that cost them against Wicklow.
He feels that a win will put them back in contention in Division 4.
