The Waterford footballers will aiming to get their Division 4 Allianz League campaign back on track this evening.

The Déise are still seeking their first win of the season, ahead of the visit of Wexford to Fraher Field for the 3rd-round clash.

There's one change for the Waterford side - Corey Kennedy is in for Michael Curry.

The Slaneysiders who are under former Kerry all-star Paul Galvin picked up their first points last weekend, with victory at home to Carlow.

It's the third successive weekend the footballers are in action, and captain Conor Murray says this is where the hard training will come into play; "We've a chance this weekend to turn things before the break, this weekend really is massive and hopefully we can start turning things around".

Brian Lynch, the Waterford forward is hoping for a big home support this evening; "It'd be great, with the hurlers not playing the weekend hopefully we can get a bit of support, where else would you want to be".

Throw-in is at 7pm, and we'll have updates here on WLR.
