The Waterford senior footballers were agonisingly close to claiming a first win in the Division Four of the league this afternoon.
Paul Shankey's side drew with Tipperary in Bansha, 1.13 to 0.16 having led by four at the break.
The Déise held the lead from the first minute until the 23rd minute of the second half when Tipp drew level.
Three late points from Jason Curry - who scored four in all - kept his side in contention, but Tipp responded to share the spoils at the full-time whistle.
Up next for Paul Shanhey's side is the trip to Ruislip to take on London in two weeks, on March 16th.
