Villa striker Dean Walsh recently hit the 30-goal mark for this year’s Waterford Premier League season – despite having only played 14 games.

In 1,098 minutes of football across 14 matches – the 28-year-old has hit the net on 30 occasions as well as providing a further 12 assists.

Walsh has fired hat-tricks against Bohemians, Waterford Crystal, Ferrybank, Tycor and Tramore this season.

He also recently scored both goals as the Connors Park side beat Tramore 2-1 to retain the Jimmy Searson Ardagh Premier Cup.

Walsh will be hoping to add to his tally tomorrow night when Villa play host to Tramore.

A win for Villa would secure a fifth successive Waterford Premier League title.
