De La Salle College are Munster U-17 soccer champions after sticking seven past St. Francis' College Rochestown in the provincial final in Cahir this morning.
Conor Keane netted a hat-trick, with Sean Keane, Dylan Quinlan Meagher, Mikey Carroll and Shane O'Sullivan also getting on the scoresheet.
They move on to the All Ireland semi-final and will hope to join the Under-19 squad in the national decider.
The 19s are set to face St. Eunan's of Donegal in Dublin next Wednesday.
The team led 4-2 at half time thanks to strikes from Dylan Quinlan Meagher, a brace from Conor Keane and a Sean Keane effort before Mikey Carroll, Shane O'Sullivan and Conor Keane's third secured the win for the Salle.
The school have congratulated the squad for producing an incredible performance on a day when it mattered most.
