De La Salle go on the hunt for Maiden Munster victory this weekend.

They reached the final by defeating the camogie power house Thurles Sarsfields in their last outing in what was a thriller in Gracedieu.

De La Salle (Waterford) – 2-21 (27)  Thurles Sarsfields (Tipperary) – 3-16 (25)

De la Salle will face St Finbarr’s (Cork) in the decider this Saturday.

This will be a First-ever final appearance for both clubs at the Senior Grade, De La Salle will look to the goal scoring machine Maggie Gostl as well as a cast of stars including Beth Carton, Keeley Corbett-Barry, Abby Flynn and Brianna O’Regan to name a few.

This would be a massive result for De La Salle but also for Camogie in Waterford, In recent years Waterford have cemented themselves at the top table of Camogie in Ireland.

A 1st Munster title win for De La Salle at the Senior club Grade would cement that place even further with 7 County Players amongst their ranks.

The game takes place in FBD Semple Stadium at 1pm and the game will be live on WLR with Michael Drislane & Seamus Barry
