Waterford FC have announced the appointment of Danny Ventre as the club’s Assistant Manager.
Ventre joins the Blues with a wealth of League of Ireland playing experience with Sligo Rovers & Derry City, and will work closely with new manager John Coleman as the pair take charge of the side.
Speaking on his appointment, Danny Ventre says he is delighted to be part of the Coleman’s backroom staff at the RSC: “I’m excited to be here, and to be back in the League of Ireland and to work alongside John. We’re looking forward to getting straight into it on Friday against Galway. They’ll be a tough test – we’ve watched them already – they bring their own threats, but we will too.”
The club have also confirmed the department of Matt Craddock, who had served as Assistant Manager to former Head Coach Keith Long.
A statement from the club read: “Matt came in as our assistant manager ahead of the 2025 season, and we would like to thank Matt for his professionalism and commitment during his time at the club.”
