Waterford's professional boxer Craig McCarthy will have to do it all again to try and secure the Celtic Middleweight Title following an extraordinary bout in the Rebok Stadium in Bolton last night against Chris Blaney.
The two fighters could not separated by the judges and referee and a draw was declared by the officials.
The pair left the ring bloodied and bruised but the promoter Ricky Hatton stated afterwards that he wants a rematch between McCarthy and Blaney to take place early in 2020, hopefully in Ireland if a venue can be secured.
