It'll be a familiar pairing in this year's County Ladies Senior football Championship Final on October 2nd as long standing rivals Ballymacarbry and Comeragh Rangers will go head to head.

The decider will take place on Sunday October 2nd in Dungarvan GAA Grounds, with a 4pm throw-in for what'll be an eagerly awaited clash.

Ballymac will be bidding for a remarkable 41 titles in a row and they saw off Kilrossanty / Brickies in last weekend's semi-final by 1-12 to 0-7 at Ballinameela.

Comeragh Rangers sealed their final ticket by virtue of a hard fought win (1-12 to 1-4) over Stradbally in Colligan.

Comeragh star Aoife Murray featured on Monday evening's "On The Ball" programme and she was delighted to come through a tough battle to qualify for another final against their arch rivals; "Yeah definitely, we always know when we meet Stradbally in any game that it's going to be a tough game you know, they really put it up to us as usual but luckily we got over the line in the end and we're looking forward to another go in the county final this year".

Aoife praised the impact of the younger players who've added a lot to the squad this season and that was in evidence last weekend; "We played well, we did have one or two set backs during the week (leading into the semi-final) with a few niggles but in fairness to our younger girls, the likes of Ellen Bolger and Ciara Curran, they really stepped up and drove us on but yeah of course there's always things to improve on and we'll be looking to play better in the final if we're to get over the line".

It promises to be another intriguing decider on October 2nd and is certainly one to look forward too, we'll have plenty build-up to the big game both on air and online over the next week.
