Sean Power is calling on Waterford supporters to arrive early to Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday to cheer on his Déise camogie side against Cork in the Munster quarter final.
Waterford claimed the Division 1B title earlier this month after winning six games out of six. Power hopes that the away fans will get behind the team.
"I would urge anyone going to the match to watch the hurlers come in a bit early and watch the girls as well and I think people will. Páirc Uí Chaoimh is a fantastic arena and the pitch will be beautiful. It's really one of those things that should happen more often if schedules and fixtures and politics allow for it."
It is a repeat of last year's All Ireland semi final which the Rebels won by five points. Clara Griffin and Aoife Landers are Power's main injury concerns.
Dual star Annie Fitzgerald will line out for the Waterford ladies football team on Sunday against Kerry. Both Déise sides are in Munster championship action on the same afternoon and Power is disappointed to lose the Gailltir forward. "She is a quality player, we all know that. It's just one of these days that these two games clash. We've a good working relationship, Annie and myself, on how it's going to work for her. It's just one of these things. We just have to plan without her for this one."
Waterford v Cork in the Munster camogie quarter final will be the Kiely Gaule Big Match on Sunday. Coverage starts at 1.15 on WLR with Tomás McCarthy and Claire Whyte in the commentary box.
