The Waterford senior hurling championship quarter-finals are underway this evening.
Action will begin on Friday night at Walsh Park when Mount Sion face Ferrybank at Walsh Park at 6.45 with a place in the semi-finals up for grabs.
At 7 o'clock, Western rivals Tallow and Lismore will clash in the relegation playoffs at Fraher Field.
On Saturday, there's a double header at Fraher Field - beginning with the meeting of Clonea and Fourmilewater in the battle against relegation. That one throws in at 5pm.
That game will be followed by the derby between Dungarvan and Abbeyside at 6.45.
There's a further two quarter-finals to whet the appetite on Sunday with a double header at Walsh Park, action begins at 1.45 as Roanmore play Passage, before defending champions Ballygunner take on De La Salle at 3.30.
In the Premier Intermediate Championship, there are four quarter-finals down for decision.
On Friday at 7pm, the Brickey Rangers take on Dunhill at Lemybrien.
On Saturday, Ballygunner meet Affane / Tourin / Cappoquin in Colligan at 3pm, followed by the meeting of Ballysaggart and Tramore at Bushy Park from 5.
On Sunday, the semi-final line-up will be completed as Clashmore Kinsalebeg go up against Shamrocks at Fraher Field from half 12.
