Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is blaming his players for their shock F-A Cup exit.

The holders suffered 4-2 defeat to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground yesterday.

It the Gunner's first third round defeat since the Frenchman took charge in 1996.

Wenger made nine changes to his team, but says that is no excuse.

Elsewhere West Ham will need a replay to get past League One side Shrewsbury after a goalless draw at New Meadow.

Tottenham eased to a 3-nil triumph over AFC Wimbledon to avoid an upset at Wembley.

And League Two Newport scored a dramatic late winner to seal a 2-1 victory over Leeds.

The last 3rd round tie this evening sees Brighton take on Crystal Palace, in an historic clash at the Amex Stadium.

A Video Assistant Referee will be used for the first time in the competition.

Kick off is at 7.45.
