Waterford camogie star Beth Carton put in a player of the match performance as UL won their fifth Ashbourne Cup in a row at the WIT Arena.
She scored 1-7 from placed balls, seven frees and a second half penalty, as they defeated UCC 3-14 to 0-12. Gailltir pair Annie Fitzgerald and Kate Lynch also started for the Limerick college.
Carton was selected on the Ashbourne All Star team along with fellow Déise players Sibeal Harney from UCC and Áine Ní Chrothaigh from Marino.
