Cappoquin student named on Irish Snooker team for Celtic Cup

A young snooker player from Cappoquin has been named on the Republic of Ireland in the U14-U16 snooker team in the upcoming Celtic Challenge tournament.

Davy Hickey - a student in Blackwater College - will be part of the Irish team that travels to Llanelli from June 1st to 3rd.

Davy qualified on Saturday following the National u14-16 championships in Kildare.
