In addition to the teams competing in the FEI Nations Cup Class, Camphire hosts six international classes for individual riders as well as two special Masterclasses for young 4 and 5 year old Irish horses.

Special guest at the launch which took place at the House of Waterford Crystal last night was Cathal Daniels, who will be back at Camphire in July to defend his title having won the top Class in his first attempt at this level of competition in 2018.

Cathal went on to win Silver as part of Ireland's Silver Medal winning team at last year's World Equestrian Games. He said: "I was honoured to be awarded the Susie Dobbs Trophy last year as highest placed Irish rider. I can't wait to get back there. The course is magnificent and the atmosphere at Camphire is quite unique."

Speaking at the launch, Event Director Paul Brady said: "It is exciting to see the event grow in stature each year, and in particular to be able to carry through so many innovative developments this year. None of this would be possible without the energy and passion of so many people who volunteer to help, nor without the landowners, and the support of long-standing sponsors and patrons. I should like to take this opportunity to thank them all, and to say how grateful we are to both the Wilks and the Browne families on whose magnificent farmlands the event takes place.
Sema Lease continues to provide its generous support as title sponsor. The on-going support of Cahervillahow, Gain Equine Nutrition, Waterford City & County Council, Castleacre and Ecclesiastical Insurance, Horse Sport Ireland and Eventing Ireland is so very much appreciated.
