There’s a busy afternoon of county finals and championship clashes across Waterford today.

The Waterford Senior Camogie Championship title is up for grabs at the SETU Arena, where De La Salle and Gailltír go head-to-head once again in a 3.00 p.m. throw-in. It’s the fifth consecutive year that these two clubs have met in the county decider — a testament to their dominance on the local scene and the strength of their rivalry.

Gailltír have been the standard-setters in recent seasons, but De La Salle will be determined to turn the tables and reclaim the county crown.

Meanwhile, attention also turns to the football field, where the first of this year’s Waterford Senior Football Championship quarter-finals gets underway at 1.00 p.m. in Kilmacthomas.

There, Gaultier take on Roanmore in what promises to be a lively encounter, with a semi-final spot on the line.
